This was my surprise FO for my Silly Swap Pal who just so happens to be a fellow Green Bay Packer Fan. Isn't he adorable? I think she looks pretty amused.

Thank you, Debbi! We swapped our Silly Socks this afternoon. Debbi spoiled me with these lovely blue socks that fit perfectly (I need to get the specs on them), some Spunky Eclectic roving, some of Mary's fabulous stitch markers, a yummy
cookbook, handmade soap that smells good enough to eat, hot cocoa (that will be going with me to work), a fantastic sock pattern, and a whooping 600 yards of yarn called Dragonfly. And thank you Christine, Crystal and Kathy for the wonderful narration....it was almost as good as being there. What a great idea Julie and Crystal ! The group reveal photo's are here and go over and check out Madame Purl's lovely new socks.

I was finishing getting ready to go to breakfast and the doorbell rang. My Silly Sock Swap package has arrived! Because this swap was a small group of friends, those that are geographically close are getting together tomorrow for the reveal and Madame Purl and I will be 'calling in'. Perfect timing and no I won't peak :)
We signed up for milk home delivery and our first order arrived this morning. A friend mentioned how fresh the milk was straight from the dairy and turns out he was right on the money.
I finished these up last month and hadn't remembered to take a FO picture. These are the Snicket Socks knit in Lorna's Laces Shepard Sock Jeans colorway. Here are the Silly Sock Swap Socks just before they went into the box with all the other goodies to be mailed for the big reveal. I included a surprise knitted item that I will show y' all next week after the recipient has opened it.
In other knitting I am on the home stretch on Lady Eleanor, but it doesn't look much different than before--just longer.
We had quite the turnout at Thursday night knitting and even broadened some horizons with an introduction to spinning. Kristi was gracious enough to demo the drop spindle for several interested knitters.
